The organization values professionalism, collaboration, and clear communication with diverse guest groups, including international visitors.Role Description The Chinese Translator is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, supporting Galaxy Park and Jump Park in communication with Chinese-speaking visitors, partners, and staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating written materials (such as signage, safety instructions, marketing content, and internal documents) between Chinese and English/Arabic, and providing live interpretation when needed. The role involves assisting customer service teams in communicating with Chinese-speaking guests, helping explain activities, rules, and promotions clearly and accurately. The translator will collaborate with management and operations teams to ensure all translated content is culturally appropriate, consistent, and aligned with company standards. The role also includes maintaining organized translation records and supporting staff training materials for better service to Chinese-speaking visitors.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and excellent command of English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.Demonstrated experience in written translation and verbal interpretation, preferably in customer service or hospitality settings.Ability to translate marketing, operational, and safety content accurately while maintaining clarity and cultural appropriateness.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management teams.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple translation tasks in a fast-paced environment.Comfort working on-site in entertainment centers and supporting front-line staff during peak visitor hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.Previous experience in entertainment, tourism, or hospitality sectors is beneficial.Relevant academic background in languages, translation, or related fields is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
