Department: Human Resources / AdministrationJob SummaryFinleap is looking for an experienced Chinese Translator / Interpreter to facilitate effective communication between Chinese management/HQ and local teams.The role will involve Chinese ↔ English ↔ Urdu interpretation and translation for management meetings, HR discussions, employee interviews, operational communications, reports and business documents.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide accurate real-time and consecutive interpretation between Mandarin Chinese, English and Urdu.Translate business, HR, operational and management documents.Support Chinese management during meetings, interviews, employee discussions and business engagements.Facilitate communication between Chinese HQ/management and Pakistan-based teams.Translate policies, reports, presentations, emails and official communications.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR, employee and business information.Assist with cross-cultural communication and resolve language-related misunderstandings.Provide administrative and coordination support to Chinese management as required.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, Communications or a related field.Preference for candidates who completed their education in China.HSK Level 6 certification – required.HSKK Advanced – strongly preferred.Minimum 3–4 years of professional translation/interpretation experience.Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English and Urdu.Strong spoken and written communication skills.Experience working with Chinese management/HQ or Chinese companies in Pakistan will be an advantage.Experience in fintech, financial services, technology or other corporate environments is preferred.Strong confidentiality, professionalism and cross-cultural awareness.Proficiency in MS Office; experience with translation tools is an advantage.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is more than a language translator — someone who can confidently act as a communication bridge between Chinese management and Pakistani teams, accurately conveying the meaning, tone and intent of conversations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.Candidate AssessmentShortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical assessment covering:Chinese ↔ English interpretationChinese ↔ Urdu interpretationLive/consecutive interpretationWritten business translationEducation: Bachelor's DegreeExperience: 3–4+ yearsLanguages: Mandarin Chinese, English & UrduCertification: HSK 6 | HSKK Advanced preferred
