Date posted: August 29, 2026Pay: $60.00 - $105.00 per hourExpected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per weekChristian Counselor – Independent Contractor | TelehealthElva Chase Group Practice, PLLC is a growing faith-based Christian counseling practice seeking compassionate, dedicated, and clinically minded Christian Counselors to join our expanding team.This opportunity is ideal for counselors who are passionate about helping individuals, couples, children, teens, and families experience emotional healing, personal growth, and spiritual well-being through a Christ-centered approach.Our MissionAt Elva Chase Group Practice, PLLC, our mission is to provide compassionate, faith-centered counseling that helps individuals, couples, children, teens, and families find healing, clarity, hope, and lasting change.We strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges through Christian faith, practical tools, and evidence-informed counseling approaches.Position OverviewThis is a remote, telehealth independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to grow your counseling practice within an established group-practice framework.We are seeking counselors who are self-motivated, professional, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality Christian counseling.Counselors are expected to actively develop and maintain their own client caseload. This may include generating referrals through personal and professional networks, community relationships, churches, physician referrals, social media, networking, and other appropriate marketing and outreach efforts.Our goal is for each counselor to build and maintain an active caseload of approximately 5–10 clients, with the ability to grow beyond that based on availability, client demand, and counselor preference.CompensationThis is a 60/40 fee-split independent contractor position, with the counselor receiving 60% of collected session fees and the practice retaining 40% for administrative and practice-related support.Current standard session rates include:Individual Intake Evaluation: $125 — Counselor receives 60% ($75)Individual Counseling Session: $100 — Counselor receives 60% ($60)Couples Intake Evaluation: $175 — Counselor receives 60% ($105)Couples Counseling Session: $150 — Counselor receives 60% ($90)Compensation is based on services rendered and collected, rather than an hourly wage. Actual earnings will vary based on the counselor’s caseload, session volume, cancellations/no-shows, and collected client fees.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide professional, compassionate, and ethical Christian counseling through telehealth.Conduct intake evaluations and ongoing counseling sessions.Develop individualized treatment goals and appropriate counseling interventions.Integrate Christian faith and biblical principles when clinically and ethically appropriate and consistent with the client’s preferences.Utilize evidence-informed counseling approaches appropriate to client needs.Maintain timely, accurate, and professional clinical documentation.Maintain appropriate professional and ethical boundaries with clients.Protect client confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy requirements.Communicate professionally with clients and the practice.Maintain an active caseload and manage scheduling responsibly.Generate and cultivate your own client referrals and professional network.Participate in appropriate practice meetings, training, consultation, or professional development as applicable.Represent Elva Chase Group Practice, PLLC professionally within the community and online.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:A degree/license in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field.Appropriate state licensure or credentials to provide counseling services independently or under an arrangement permitted by applicable state law.Experience providing individual, couples, family, child, adolescent, or adult counseling.A genuine commitment to Christian, faith-based counseling.Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.Ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication with the practice.Reliable internet connection and a private, professional environment suitable for telehealth.Strong ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality.Professional liability/malpractice insurance.Ability and willingness to develop and maintain a personal referral base.Bilingual (Preferred)Preferred qualifications may include experience in areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship/marital concerns, family conflict, behavioral concerns, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, or other areas of clinical specialization.Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
