Its sister academy, BEVERLY HILLS FACE™, brings the same standard to facial plastic surgery, uniting the world's leading face surgeons for live surgery, faculty-led education, and flagship events.We are looking for a highly experienced cinematographer and editor to take ownership of all filming for both academies and capture every event, live surgery, and podcast at a world-class standard.Position OverviewThe Senior Cinematographer & Video Editor will own video production for Beverly Hills Body Academy™ and BEVERLY HILLS FACE™, from planning and filming through editing, delivery, and archiving.This is a hands-on leadership position, not a camera operator role. It requires deep technical mastery, a strong storytelling eye, calm professionalism in the operating room, and the ability to deliver independently under tight event timelines.The Senior Cinematographer & Video Editor will serve as the central point of accountability for how both academies look on camera, working with leadership, faculty, the event team, marketing, AV vendors, and production crews.Key ResponsibilitiesLive EventsLead filming of Beverly Hills Body Academy™ and BEVERLY HILLS FACE™ meetings, including keynotes, panels, faculty sessions, sponsor areas, networking, and black-tie events.Plan camera positions, coverage, and shot lists with the event team ahead of every event.Capture behind-the-scenes, attendee, and sponsor moments for marketing and recap content.Live SurgeryDirect and shoot live body and facial surgery in the operating room with multi-camera setups.Work within sterile-field and OR protocols, in coordination with surgeons and clinical staff.Handle patient footage with complete discretion and in line with consent and privacy requirements.PodcastProduce the podcasts for both academies from start to finish, including set design, multi-camera setup, lighting, audio, recording, and edit.Deliver full episodes and clips for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and podcast platforms.Live Production & AVDesign and run multi-camera and live-stream production at events.Direct AV vendors, venue teams, and freelance crew on production days.Run technical checks and rehearsals before every session.Faculty & Surgeon ContentShoot faculty interviews, surgeon announcement films, and educational content for both academies.Make sure every faculty member is filmed at a premium standard.Editing & DeliveryEdit full sessions, event recap films, highlight reels, and clips.Design titles, lower thirds, and motion graphics that follow each academy's brand guideline, keeping the two brands distinct.Color grade and mix audio to a finished, broadcast-quality standard.Deliver content on deadline so marketing can promote faculty, sponsors, and events on schedule.Equipment & Asset ManagementSpec, build, and maintain the in-house camera, lighting, and audio kit shared across both academies.Archive and organize all event, surgery, and podcast footage by academy so every asset is easy to find.Post-Event ResponsibilitiesDeliver final event films and highlight reels.Provide footage and selects for faculty, sponsors, and marketing.Run a post-event review with leadership and document improvements for the next meeting.Qualifications8+ years as a cinematographer or director of photography.A reel that shows multi-camera live events and premium interview work.Proven experience leading crews on large live productions, conferences, or broadcast.Mastery of cinema cameras (Sony FX / Venice, RED, ARRI, or equivalent), lenses, lighting design, and gimbal work.Deep live production experience, including switching, live streaming, and multi-camera direction.Expert in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, including professional color grading.Multi-camera podcast production experience with broadcast-quality audio.Ability to communicate confidently with surgeons, faculty, sponsors, and VIP guests.Composure under pressure in live and operating-room settings.Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends around major events and surgeries.Ability to travel when required.Preferred experience includes filming surgery or medical procedures, medical conferences, surgical education, plastic surgery/aesthetics, luxury brands, and an FAA Part 107 drone license.CompensationStarting base salary of $75,000 per year.BenefitsEmployer-sponsored health insurancePaid vacationPaid sick leave in accordance with California law401(k) retirement planGrowthAs performance is demonstrated, this role can expand into greater ownership of production across both academies, including leading a larger production team, with base salary growing into the $85,000 to $90,000 range. Compensation is reviewed periodically based on performance, judgment, reliability, and business needs. Advancement and increases are not guaranteed.Work EnvironmentFull-time, on-site at our Irvine, CA office, with regular work on location in Beverly Hills and in surgeon partners' operating rooms. Expect early morning, evening, and weekend work around live surgery, events, and podcast recordings.What Success Looks LikeSuccess means every event, live surgery, and podcast episode across both academies is captured at a premium standard and delivered on time.
