Cinematographer
The ideal candidate combines storytelling, lighting, composition, and camera movement to capture the emotion, atmosphere, and character of every celebration.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop the visual approach for wedding films, event highlights, couple shoots, and brand projects.Understand client expectations, creative references, event schedules, and key moments before each shoot.Plan camera positions, lighting, lens choices, and shot sequences to support the story.Capture emotions, rituals, performances, décor, and candid interactions with a strong cinematic sensibility.Direct couples and other subjects naturally, helping them feel comfortable on camera.Operate professional cinema or mirrorless cameras, gimbals, and other camera support equipment.Manage exposure, focus, white balance, frame rates, and colour profiles consistently across shooting conditions.Coordinate with additional camera operators to achieve complementary angles and consistent footage.Work with photographers, planners, and audio teams to ensure smooth coverage without disrupting the event.Collaborate with editors and colourists on footage selection, pacing, colour treatment, and the final film.Maintain organised footage, secure backups, and clear handover notes for post-production.Check and maintain equipment, with backup arrangements for essential gear.Follow production schedules, delivery commitments, and client permissions for footage use.Send resumes to Aakkankshha HR- 9014898045Skills & ExperienceA strong showreel demonstrating cinematography for weddings, events, or related productions.Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, composition, lighting, lenses, and camera movement.Proficiency with professional cameras and shooting workflows, including log profiles and colour management.Ability to capture high-quality footage in low light and unpredictable live-event conditions.Understanding of sound recording and its role in the final film.Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro; editing and colour-grading skills are an advantage.Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and calm decision-making under pressure.Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
