Through collaboration with public and private sector partners, MARAFID connects land, infrastructure, and operational expertise to support Riyadh’s economic growth.We are currently seeking a Circular Economy Director to manage and coordinate MARAFID’s circular economy ecosystem operations, overseeing sector assets, services, and ecosystem participants to enable efficient resource recovery, strengthen circular value chains, and support sustainable sector growth.1. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee circular economy ecosystem operations, coordinating activities across MARAFID’s recovery, recycling, reuse, and circular economy assets, services, and initiatives.Manage the operational performance of circular economy assets and services, monitoring utilization, material volumes, service levels, revenues, costs, and other key operational indicators.Coordinate with recyclers, waste generators, collectors, service providers, and other ecosystem participants to facilitate efficient movement and recovery of materials across the circular value chain.Manage and enhance circular economy services and platforms, supporting material exchange, resource recovery, traceability, and connectivity between supply and demand.Identify and implement operational improvement opportunities to increase recovery rates, asset utilization, service quality, operational efficiency, and value generated from recovered materials.Support the launch and operationalization of new circular economy offerings.Monitor sector demand, material flows, and operational trends to identify opportunities to enhance existing services and support future ecosystem development.Coordinate with relevant corporate functions to support effective and compliant operations.2. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.7+ years of relevant experience in circular economy, recycling, sustainability, or related fields.Strong understanding of circular economy principles, resource recovery, recycling, and operational performance.Strong stakeholder management, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Fluency in Arabic and English.
