Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Business DevelopmentSupport the execution of the company’s strategy for launching and growing its operations in Riyadh.Identify new local market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive customer acquisition and retention.Develop initiatives to support the growth and performance of the Riyadh market.Operations ManagementOversee all aspects of day-to-day Riyadh operations, including driver supply, service quality, customer support, and local marketing.Ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience aligned with company standards.Implement and optimize scalable processes to support the growth of the Riyadh operation.Team Building & ManagementSupport recruitment efforts in collaboration with the central HR team to attract top talent for the Riyadh team.Build and mentor a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.Establish clear performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and ensure alignment with company goals.Marketing & Brand BuildingDevelop and execute localized marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and user growth in Riyadh.Monitor local market trends and customer behaviour to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Regulatory Compliance & Government RelationsEnsure Riyadh operations comply with local laws, transportation regulations, and business licensing requirements.Build and maintain relationships with relevant local stakeholders and government bodies, in coordination with the central team.Financial Oversight & ReportingManage the Riyadh city budget in coordination with the central finance team, ensuring disciplined expenditure and effective resource allocation.Provide regular performance and market reports to headquarters.Analyze financial and operational data to inform decision-making and optimize Riyadh operations.Qualifications & SkillsExperienceProven track record in a management role such as City Lead, General Manager, or Head of Operations, ideally within the technology, mobility, or on-demand services sector.Demonstrated experience launching, managing, or scaling operations in a new city or market.Experience managing budgets and delivering against operational and financial targets.SkillsStrong leadership and team-building capabilities, including experience supporting recruitment and hiring decisions.Strong business acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.Strong understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and business landscape in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia.AttributesEntrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling operations from the ground up.Highly adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Hands-on leader and natural problem solver who takes ownership and leads by example.
