The role focuses on accurate, constructible BIM production for roads, grading, pavements, utilities, site works, and infrastructure interfaces, while maintaining project BIM standards, shared coordinates, model data, and submission readiness.Scope note: this is a modeling and BIM production role. Engineering design decisions, calculations, and final technical approvals remain with the responsible discipline engineer unless formally assigned by the project.Key Responsibilities :Develop and maintain Civil 3D BIM models for infrastructure works, including roads, corridors, surfaces, grading, pavements, earthworks, and utility networks.Model and update gravity and pressure networks such as stormwater, sewer, water, TSE, irrigation, drainage structures, chambers, manholes, catch basins, ducts, trenches, and related site components.Support dry utility and infrastructure coordination modeling, including electrical, ICT, ELV, lighting, duct banks, pull boxes, and utility corridor interfaces where project scope requires.Use Revit for supporting infrastructure-related modeling, including structures, chambers, plant rooms, utility interfaces, architectural/structural coordination elements, families, and model updates when Civil 3D alone is not sufficient.Prepare model-based deliverables such as plans, profiles, sections, shop drawings, as-built updates, quantity take-offs, schedules, and coordination views.Integrate survey data, design changes, red-line markups, field comments, and approved assumptions into the models with clear revision control.Run/support Navisworks or ACC model coordination, including clash review, issue tracking, viewpoints, and follow-up with discipline and site teams.Maintain BIM quality requirements, including naming, layers, property sets, shared parameters, LOD/LOI, work sets, coordinates, file health, and export checks.Prepare and check BIM exports such as DWG, IFC, NWC/NWD, DWFx/PDF sheets, and other formats required by the project information exchange process.Systems and Modeling Coverage :Civil 3D - PrimaryRoads, alignments, profiles, corridors, assemblies, surfaces, grading, pavements, earthworks, road furniture, utility corridors, and site coordination models.Wet UtilitiesStormwater, sewer, potable water, TSE, irrigation pressure networks, drip/tree irrigation interfaces, culverts, chambers, manholes, catch basins, outfalls, and related structures.Dry UtilitiesElectrical, ICT, ELV, street lighting, duct banks, trenches, pull boxes, handholes, cable route coordination, and utility crossings.Revit - SupportingInfrastructure structures, buildings/interface zones, pump rooms, equipment spaces, utility chambers, families, details, sheets, and coordination elements as required.Coordination / OutputClash review, shared coordinates, model federation, shop drawing support, quantity extraction, as-built update, and submission/export packages.Qualifications :Diploma or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, BIM, or a related technical discipline.Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Revit certification is preferred.ISO 19650, ACC/BIM 360, Navisworks, or BIM coordination training is an advantage.Experience Requirements :Minimum 5 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience, including at least 3 years using Civil 3D on infrastructure projects.Proven experience modeling roads, grading, utilities, and site works for construction-stage or as-built BIM delivery.Practical Revit experience for infrastructure interfaces, structures, coordination elements, sheets, families, or model updates.Experience on large-scale infrastructure, mixed-use, transport, utilities, or giga-project environments is preferred.Core Skills and Tools :Strong Civil 3D production skills: surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe/pressure networks, styles, labels, data shortcuts, and drawing production.Working Revit skills: model setup, families, views, sheets, linked models, shared coordinates, parameters, and basic model health practices.Good understanding of infrastructure drawings, profiles, sections, survey data, as-built records, and discipline coordination requirements.Proficient with AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, ACC/BIM 360, MS Excel, and model/file export workflows.Familiarity with BIM standards, naming conventions, LOD/LOI, CDE workflows, clash coordination, and model QA/QC checklists.Able to communicate model issues clearly, follow markups, document assumptions, and work under tight submission deadlines.Expected Outputs :Civil 3D and Revit models ready for internal coordination, consultant review, and formal submission.Shop drawings, plans, profiles, sections, details, schedules, and exports derived from or aligned with the BIM models.Updated as-built/record models based on survey, redlines, site verification, and approved project information.Model coordination support: clash viewpoints, issue notes, quantity summaries, and model QA/QC evidence when required.
