Civil Engineer

JOB PURPOSEAs the Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of civil and construction works across development projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, budgets, and project timelines.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the execution and supervision of civil and structural works across construction projects.Review civil drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and related project documents.Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Support quantity calculations, material take-offs, and BOQ preparation.Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.Assist in identifying and resolving technical and site-related issues.Support quality control and inspection activities.Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.Monitor site safety requirements and support compliance with HSE standards.Participate in project coordination and site meetings.Support project cost control and value engineering activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration or eligibility preferred.Experience0–1 year of experience in civil engineering, construction, or related projects.Internship or cooperative training within construction or engineering projects is an advantage.KnowledgeGood understanding of civil engineering and construction principles.Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site activities.Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.Basic knowledge of quality and safety requirements.Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) is an advantage.SkillsAbility to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or Primavera P6 is an advantage.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to prepare technical and progress reports.TraitsDetail-oriented and quality-focused.Proactive and willing to learn.Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Responsible and accountable.Collaborative and team-oriented.
