Civil Engineer (Overlay Infrastructure)

Role SummaryTo support the delivery of temporary infrastructure and facilities required across tournament venues. The role will assist with site setup, installation activities, supplier coordination and venue readiness to ensure overlay facilities are delivered according to operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and delivery of temporary overlay infrastructure across assigned venuesPrepare technical drawings, specifications, and material estimates for overlay worksSupport site inspections, measurements and readiness checksCoordinate with contractors, surveyors, and project stakeholders to ensure timely project deliveryReview and interpret geotechnical and pavement condition reports to inform design decisionsPrepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project cost estimatesEnsure compliance with local regulatory codes, safety standards, and environmental requirementsRequired SkillsUnderstanding of temporary structures, site setup, venue infrastructure or event facilities.Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar toolsSolid understanding of Saudi Building Code and relevant local infrastructure regulationsAbility to manage site supervision and quality assurance processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldProfessional engineering license or membership with a recognized engineering body preferredFamiliarity with Saudi infrastructure and construction standards is highly desirableValid iqamaExperience RequirementAt least 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on road or overlay infrastructure projectsExperience supporting sporting events, tournaments, exhibitions or large-scale events is preferredLocation / Work ModeJeddah, Saudi Arabia - On-site
