Civil Faculty

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Engineering Faculty to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical instruction, supporting student learning and development, and contributing to academic and institutional activities.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions in Civil Engineering subjects.Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, assignments, assessments, and examination papers.Teach subjects such as Structural Engineering, Construction Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, Transportation Engineering, Hydraulics, and Quantity Surveying, as per assigned curriculum.Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support to students.Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, projects, presentations, and practical work.Maintain accurate student attendance, academic records, grades, and assessment documentation.Use practical examples, industry applications, case studies, and relevant software/tools to enhance student learning.Supervise student projects, practical activities, and laboratory work where applicable.Participate in curriculum development, academic reviews, moderation, and quality assurance activities.Support accreditation and regulatory requirements by maintaining required academic documentation and records.Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, seminars, student activities, and institutional events.Stay updated with developments, technologies, standards, and best practices in the Civil Engineering industry.Collaborate with other faculty members and academic teams to ensure effective delivery of programs.Perform other academic duties assigned by the Head of Academics/Management.Educational QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant specialization is preferred.Relevant professional certifications or industry qualifications will be an advantage.Experience & RequirementsMinimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Civil Engineering.Experience in a university, college, academy, or technical/training institute is preferred.Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering concepts and practical applications.Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or other relevant engineering software will be an advantage.Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to prepare and deliver structured lessons effectively.Strong assessment, evaluation, and academic documentation skills.Candidates with UAE education-sector experience will be preferred.Candidates must be willing to work from the assigned campus in Dubai.Key SkillsCivil Engineering | Teaching & Training | Curriculum Delivery | Student Mentoring | Assessment & Evaluation | Structural Engineering | Construction | Surveying | AutoCAD | Civil 3D | Academic Documentation | Classroom Management | Quality Assurance
