Based at our Head Office in Darra, QLD, we are looking for someone who takes initiative, is committed to excellence, conducts themselves professionally, and thrives in a high-performing team environment.In this role, you will work closely with both internal stakeholders and customers, supporting the balance between effective risk management and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.About the RoleThis is a new role to the team! Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, this Credit Officer sits at the intersection of Credit, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Claims Management. You will work closely with the Credit Team and Customers to proactively assist in customer claim and rebate processing.This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with stakeholders, and taking ownership of outcomesWhat You’ll Be DoingReviewing and validating credit claims and back charges, including requests for additional informationPerforming invoice and rebate analysis, including reporting, calculations and resolving discrepanciesMaintaining accurate customer master data in line with audit and compliance requirementsManaging collections to ensure timely payment, including following up overdue accounts and escalating where requiredReconciling accounts, resolving queries and ensuring all collection actions are accurately trackedMaintaining accurate and compliant records of all customer communicationsAbout YouYou’re a confident communicator who can balance firmness with professionalism, and you’re comfortable working in a structured, deadline-driven environment.You’ll bring:Experience in a Claims Officer, Accounts Receivable or similar role (Minimum 5 years)Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and accuracy across financial data and reportingConfidence managing collections and resolving account queriesStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesA proactive mindset with the ability to assess risk and take actionComfort working with systems and technologyExcel skills - Intermediate to AdvanceAdaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environmentWhat’s In It for YouWe value your contribution and want you to feel appreciated.
