The RoleThought Bakery is looking for a technically capable design intern who is highly proficient in Claude Design, competent in Hyperframes and React, and able to translate an established brand system into consistent, high-quality creative execution. This role sits at the intersection of design, front-end development, product storytelling and creative production. You should be as comfortable working with components and code as you are producing product stills, motion assets and videos. This is an especially strong opportunity for a senior college student who already finds this work engaging and sees it as directly contributing to their personal, creative and commercial ambitions.About Thought BakeryThought Bakery is a research, positioning and go-to-market studio. We help ambitious companies understand their markets, establish a differentiated position and translate that thinking into brand, product, campaigns and content. Our work crosses research, strategy, product marketing, design and media. We use modern tools to make strong creative work more systematic and scalable, while keeping human judgment and original thinking at the center. What You’ll Be Responsible ForYou will help turn an established brand direction into a functioning creative-production system. This includes:Configuring established brand systems within Claude DesignTranslating supplied brand rules into reusable Claude Design instructionsBuilding branded experiences and assets using HyperframesCreating and modifying React componentsTranslating design concepts into responsive, functional front-end experiencesCreating reusable components, templates and prompt structuresApplying defined typography, color, spacing, layout and image treatments correctlyTesting creative systems across real company use casesProducing polished product stills, screen recordings and demonstrationsCreating short-form product, campaign and event videosBuilding repeatable workflows for common creative requestsProducing clear tutorials and recorded walkthroughsHelping early-stage teams use the available systems and templatesDocumenting components, prompts and production workflowsObserving where users encounter friction and recommending improvementsMaintaining consistency across product, web, sales, social and event assetsThe underlying brand strategy, visual identity, formal guidelines and quality-control processes will be provided. You do need to understand an established system well enough to execute it correctly across design, code, stills and video.A Systems-Based Approach Is EssentialWe do not want every asset to begin with a blank page, a new prompt or a disconnected block of code. You should naturally think about:Which brand rules need to become reusable instructionsWhich UI patterns should become React componentsWhich values should become tokens or variablesWhich assets should become templatesHow successful prompts and workflows should be documentedHow components and files should be named, stored and versionedHow one approved design can adapt across formats and screen sizesHow to prevent inconsistency as more people use the systemWhere human review is requiredHow a system can evolve without drifting from the brandYour success will be measured by the quality, usability and consistency of what you produce, not simply by how quickly you can generate it.What a Successful Rollout Looks LikeA successful project may include:Receiving the approved brand strategy, visual identity and usage rulesUnderstanding the logic behind the established systemConfiguring the brand system within Claude DesignTranslating the system into Hyperframes and reusable React componentsTesting the components across real product and marketing use casesProducing reference assets that demonstrate correct executionCreating product stills, demos and videos using the systemDocumenting the components, templates and workflowsCreating simple tutorials and recorded walkthroughsHelping a 10–12-person team begin using the systemGathering feedback and identifying points of frictionRefining the implementation without changing the underlying brand directionWho This Is ForThis role is particularly well suited to a senior college student who:Is already experimenting seriously with Claude Design, Hyperframes and modern creative-development toolsWants their work to contribute to real client and commercial outcomesIs building toward a career in creative technology, product design, front-end development or digital brand systemsWants meaningful portfolio work rather than hypothetical assignmentsIs motivated by the opportunity to develop both creative and commercial judgmentCan take ownership of defined work while remaining open to direction and feedbackYou do not need years of agency experience but rather a body of work that shows genuine curiosity, technical competence and initiative. We are already having active discussions within our network so this role will be recruited on an on-going basis.Engagement and Compensation$25–$30 per hour, based on demonstrated experienceExpected starting rate: $27 per hour10 hours per week to startRemote, with agreed working hours and weekly deliverablesReview at 2,4 and 6 weeks to assess performance, workload and fitOpportunity to increase hours or move into an ongoing part-time Creative Technologist roleTo ApplyPlease send:A short introduction explaining your experience with Claude DesignTwo to four examples of relevant workA Hyperframes project or comparable interactive experienceAn example of your React or front-end workAn example of an established brand system you translated into components, templates or production workflowsAn example involving product capture, motion or videoA brief note about where you hope this type of work will take you professionally or commerciallyWe care less about conventional credentials than evidence that you can take a well-defined brand system, operationalize it through Claude Design, Hyperframes and React, and apply it consistently across product UX, stills and video. Our setup is pretty simple, Slack, Notion and Claude and we're fan of async, agile comms, as long as the work gets done, and everyone gets a goodnight's sleep as well. One Final RequestAI-assisted applications are expected for this role. However, submitting a generic, fully generated application without personal judgment will disqualify you. At the end of your application, please include a short response titled “What I See That the Tool Doesn’t.”In no more than 150 words, tell us:One thing Claude Design does exceptionally wellOne place where its output regularly falls shortA specific example of how your judgment improved—or rejected—what it producedPlease respond from your own experience. We are not looking for a polished definition of human judgment. We are looking for evidence that you have developed some. Finally, include the name of the last design, interface or creative project that made you think, “I wish I had made that,” and tell us why in one sentence.Thought Bakery is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and experiences. No third party may recruit, solicit candidates, publish job opportunities, use Thought Bakery's name or branding, or represent that they are acting on behalf of Thought Bakery without prior written authorization.
