Our team pairs deep insurance domain expertise with modern AI engineering to solve high-impact problems in a massive, evolving industry.Role OverviewWe’re building Claude-powered solutions for real insurance carriers, and we’re looking for candidates who want to become expert practitioners at designing and shipping them.The opportunity begins with a one-month, supported certification sprint. Coveur will sponsor one official attempt at the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCAR-F) certification and support participants through a plan, standups with other cohort members, progress milestones, peer collaboration, and exam-readiness reviews.Participants are expected to take ownership of their preparation and independently complete the required learning between cohort sessions. The certification stage is unpaid—Coveur will sponsor the official examination fee but does not compensate study or preparation time. Participants will not perform client work, production work, or other business services for Coveur during this stage.Candidates who successfully earn the certification will be evaluated for continuation into a paid, remote Claude Implementation Internship at approximately 40 hours per week. Continuation will be determined based on certification outcome and timing, participation and consistency throughout the sprint, demonstrated technical capability, communication, reliability, and overall fit.Candidates selected to continue will receive hands-on experience building production AI solutions in a customer-centric environment, initially working alongside Coveur’s leadership and implementation team on insurance-carrier engagements.What You’ll DoDuring the Certification Sprint* Complete the applicable Anthropic Partner Academy training and preparation materials.* Participate in daily/weekly standups with other cohorts and leverage the Coveur team for support while tracking progress and preparation.* Follow the cohort’s preparation schedule and complete the required milestones.* Independently prepare for and earn the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations certification.* Make your first certification attempt by approximately September 10, 2026, with a target of completing certification no later than September 25, 2026.If Selected to Continue After Certification* Design and build Claude-based solutions for P&C insurance carriers—automating underwriting reviews, claims triage, document processing, and data extraction.* Participate in carrier-client discussions alongside Coveur’s leadership and implementation team to understand workflows and translate them into well-architected Claude implementations.* Apply prompt engineering, context management, structured outputs, retrieval, and agentic patterns to production-grade use cases.* Integrate Claude with client systems and data sources using the Claude API, Claude Agent SDK, MCP where appropriate, and conventional APIs and data services.* Collaborate with our engineering and insurance teams to ship, test, and refine solutions.* Develop evaluations and test the accuracy, reliability, and failure modes of Claude-powered workflows.* Proactively identify opportunities to make carrier operations more efficient.Who You Are* You take ownership of outcomes and follow through without constant supervision. * You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and learning unfamiliar technologies. * You are curious, detail-oriented, and willing to investigate why something does not work. * You communicate clearly and can explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. * You use AI development tools productively but independently verify their output. * You want to build reliable solutions—not merely produce demonstrations.Must-Haves* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.* Solid programming fundamentals, preferably in Python, and comfort working in the command line.* Experience building at least one working software or LLM application beyond a tutorial or classroom exercise.* Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, JSON, and basic application development.* Genuine interest in building with LLMs and agentic AI systems.* Willingness and ability to earn the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations certification within the accelerated timeline.* Ability to independently complete the certification material while consistently participating in the supported cohort.* Ability to commit approximately 40 hours per week if selected for the post-certification internship.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.Nice-to-Haves* Prior experience building with Claude or other LLMs, including prompt engineering, RAG, agents, structured outputs, or tool use.* Familiarity with MCP, APIs, and integrating AI into real applications.* Experience using an LLM through an API rather than solely through a chat interface.* Exposure to P&C insurance or another regulated, document-heavy industry.* Open-source contributions or a portfolio of AI, ML, or software projects.* Experience with cloud services, Docker, databases, automated testing, or CI/CD.How to ApplyPlease submit:1.
