The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitizing in offices, common areas, restrooms, and other facilities. Responsibilities include waste collection and disposal, restocking supplies, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors. The role also involves following established cleaning schedules, using appropriate cleaning equipment and materials, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards. The Cleaner will work closely with the facilities team to ensure all areas remain presentable, safe, and compliant with company and client requirements.Qualifications Practical experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial cleaning within facilities management or similar environments.Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and materials, including safe handling of chemicals and basic infection control practices.Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety procedures, with attention to detail and quality standards.Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.Basic communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude when working in client premises and public areas.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as required by operational needs.Previous experience in a facilities management, hospitality, or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
