You will bridge the gap between our customers' complex needs and our cutting-edge technological portfolio. Your role is to design solutions that solve our customers’ challenges by leveraging IDEMIA’s portfolio and partnerships. You will act as a trusted advisor to institutional clients or partners (Ministries, Police, Local Authorities, Local system integrators), translating their operational pains into profitable and innovative technical solutions.Why this role matters?Expanding cities and rising individual mobility have significantly impacted traffic conditions. Our solutions feature the latest in automated enforcement and behavioral monitoring technology.Your missionStrategic Solution Architecture & DesignLead the technical discovery process with clients to uncover business objectives and technical requirements for Road Safety projects.Design end-to-end solutions integrating TLES (Traffic Law Enforcement Systems) like the MESTA Series, and backend data processing.Ensure solutions comply with national regulations, data privacy laws (GDPR), and metrology standards.Bid Management & Tender ExcellenceOwn the technical response for complex RFIs, RFPs, and global tenders, ensuring competitive positioning and full compliance.Coordinate with Product, Legal, and Finance teams to develop costing models and ensure solution profitability.Present and demonstrate the value proposition of IDEMIA’s technologies to C-level stakeholders and government officials.Cross-Functional LeadershipAct as the primary interface between Sales and Product Engineering, shaping the product roadmap based on market feedback and client requirements.Lead technical Proof of Concepts (POCs) and field trials to validate solution performance in real-world conditions.Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery, remaining the technical reference during the initial implementation phases.Market IntelligenceConduct competitive intelligence on actors from the road safety industry and adjacent markets.Participate in industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars to promote IDEMIA’s leadership in road safety.What you bring?Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in IT, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Pre-Sales in high-tech sectors (Public Security, ITS, Defense, or Aerospace).

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge in CCTV technologies. Knowledge of video analytics, AI-driven behavior monitoring, and networking protocols. Existing experience in road safety and ITS applications is a plus.Infrastructure: Proficiency in Cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and cybersecurity concepts.Soft SkillsCommunication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English. Ability to distill complex technicalities into clear business value.Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to navigate matrixed organizations and build trust with senior decision-makers.Problem Solving: Structured thinker and ability to synthetize constraints for multiple stakeholders.Commercial Acumen: Understanding of project ROI, costing models, and the commercial drivers of the public safety market.In addition to strong technical and soft skills, we’re looking for someone who embodies the values of IDEMIA.
