Responsibilities include assessing and stabilizing patients presenting with emergency and acute conditions, performing clinical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting in emergency procedures under supervision of senior physicians. The role involves documenting clinical findings, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and infection control standards. The Clinical Associate will coordinate with nursing staff, consultants, and other departments to facilitate timely patient care, triage emergencies, and support smooth workflow in the emergency department. The position also includes participating in clinical discussions, following evidence-based guidelines, and contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.Qualifications Relevant medical degree (e.g., MBBS) from a recognized institution, with completion of internship and valid medical registration.Experience or training in Emergency Medicine or acute care settings, including triage, resuscitation, and management of trauma and medical emergencies.Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple patients.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a compassionate, respectful manner.Knowledge of hospital protocols, infection control practices, and documentation standards; familiarity with electronic medical records is an advantage.Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required in an emergency department setting.Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to ethical practices, and participation in clinical audits, trainings, and quality improvement activities.
