Clinical Strategy Manager – Tissue ViabilityCirca £60,000 + company car/car allowanceNational | Field BasedAre you a senior Tissue Viability Nurse or wound care specialist looking for an opportunity to take your expertise beyond the frontline?Would you like to use your clinical experience to influence practice, education, innovation and patient outcomes at a national level?This could be the opportunity you've been looking for.We are working with an established healthcare organisation to appoint a Clinical Strategy Manager – Tissue Viability.This is a high-profile national role for an experienced clinical specialist who wants to broaden their influence while retaining their professional identity and clinical expertise.Rather than being limited to one service or organisation, you'll have the opportunity to engage with senior NHS stakeholders, tissue viability leaders, clinical networks and key opinion leaders across the UK.You'll be the clinical voice within the organisation, helping translate frontline insight, evidence and NHS priorities into meaningful education, innovation and strategic development.Why consider the role?This is an opportunity to make your expertise count on a much broader stage.You'll have the opportunity to:Influence senior NHS clinical stakeholdersShape evidence-based approaches to wound careLead advanced education and clinical trainingContribute to product evaluation and innovationSupport quality improvement and evidence generationBuild relationships across national tissue viability networksLead and facilitate a Clinical Advisory BoardRepresent the organisation at conferences and professional eventsWork alongside commercial, product, marketing and regulatory teamsImportantly, you'll retain your clinical independence and professional identity, while gaining exposure to strategy, innovation and the wider healthcare landscape.What you'll be doingAs the senior clinical voice for tissue viability and wound care, you'll provide expert input across complex wound management, skin integrity and pressure damage prevention.You'll lead high-level clinical discussions with NHS organisations and multidisciplinary teams and develop trusted relationships with senior clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.You'll also:Design and deliver advanced education programmes, workshops and clinical trainingSupport internal teams to communicate clinical evidence accuratelyDevelop clinically robust resources and educational materialsLead clinical governance around product evaluations, audits, case studies and evidence generationUse clinical insight to influence product and portfolio strategyIdentify opportunities to improve patient outcomes and reduce unwarranted variationBuild relationships with tissue viability leaders, clinical networks and key opinion leadersChair or facilitate the Clinical Advisory BoardRepresent the organisation at professional meetings, conferences and exhibitions.What we're looking forStrong wound care / tissue viability experience is essential.This is a senior specialist position and we're looking for an accomplished clinician who has genuine expertise in complex wound management, tissue viability, pressure damage and skin integrity.You'll ideally be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and a recognised post-registration qualification in tissue viability, wound care or a closely related speciality, or equivalent demonstrable expertise.You'll also need:Significant senior specialist experience in tissue viability or complex wound careExperience comparable to NHS Band 8 level or aboveAt least five years' relevant experienceStrong knowledge of complex wound assessment and managementExperience across acute, community or integrated care pathwaysA track record of leading education, audit, pathway development, service improvement or evidence-generation activityExperience influencing senior clinical and non-clinical stakeholdersExcellent presentation, communication and facilitation skillsThe confidence to engage with audiences from frontline clinicians through to executive-level stakeholdersA strong understanding of evidence-based practice, clinical governance and NHS prioritiesExperience within medical devices, life sciences or an NHS/industry partnership would be advantageous, as would publication, research, conference presentation or clinical advisory experience.The packageCirca £60,000 basic salaryCompany car or car allowanceNational field-based roleThis is an unusual opportunity for an experienced Tissue Viability Nurse / Wound Care Specialist who wants to use their expertise to influence healthcare at a much broader level.If you're ready to take your wound care career beyond your current clinical environment and have a national voice in how wound care develops, we'd like to hear from you.Interested?Send your CV for a confidential conversation about the role.
