The DermaQuest Skin Health System uses a structured four-step approach to strengthen, target, boost, and protect skin, enabling professionals to confidently address a wide range of skin concerns in both treatment rooms and home care settings.Role Description The Clinical Educator / Training Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hayward, CA, with flexibility for some work-from-home activities. This role is responsible for designing and delivering clinical education programs on DermaQuest products, protocols, and the Skin Health System to skincare professionals, clinics, and partner accounts. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-person and virtual training sessions, developing educational materials and treatment guides, supporting product launches with clinical demonstrations, and answering clinical and protocol-related questions from clients. The specialist will collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure educational content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business goals. Regular responsibilities also include staying current with emerging research, documenting training outcomes, and providing feedback to enhance clinical programs and client success.Qualifications Clinical Education and Training skills to design, deliver, and evaluate effective learning programs for skincare professionals.Background in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine or related clinical disciplines to interpret clinical information and support evidence-based protocols.Research skills to review scientific literature, understand ingredient and treatment data, and translate findings into practical education.Experience presenting to groups, leading workshops, and facilitating hands-on demonstrations in clinical or aesthetic settings.Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.Knowledge of skincare science, dermatology, or aesthetics; prior experience with professional skincare or medical aesthetics is highly beneficial.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage travel to training sites, and handle multiple projects with strong organizational and time-management skills.Relevant clinical or aesthetic licensure or certification (e.g., RN, PA, NP, aesthetician, or equivalent) and a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, science, or related field preferred.
