Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Summary:The Clinical Cum Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, clinical support, and customer training of robotic surgical systems. This role combines hands-on technical service expertise with intra-operative clinical support to ensure the robotic system is used safely and effectively at every customer site. It requires frequent travel to hospitals and close collaboration with surgeons, OT staff, distributors, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical ServiceInstall, commission, and validate robotic surgical systems.Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks.Diagnose and resolve hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software issues.Execute software upgrades and calibration activities.Maintain service reports and documentation.Coordinate spare parts management and service inventory.Clinical SupportProvide intra-operative clinical support during robotic procedures.Assist surgeons and OT staff with system setup and operation.Trainsurgeons, nurses, and biomedical engineers.Support cadaver labs, workshops, and product demonstrations.Collect customer feedback and recommend product improvements.QualificationsB.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline.1–5 years of experience in medical devices,surgical robotics, or biomedical equipment service.Freshers with excellent technical and clinical aptitude may also be considered.Required SkillsMedical device troubleshootingElectrical, mechanical, and software diagnosticsClinical application supportCustomer communication and presentationPreventive maintenance and calibrationNetworking basicsDocumentation and reportingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTravel Requirements70–80% travel across India.Availability to support emergency service calls, installations, and surgical procedures, including weekends when required.
