With a busy pipeline of upcoming contracts, we are expanding our bank of freelance clinical instructors across the UAE and want to hear from experienced professionals who combine genuine clinical credibility with the ability to teach well.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are building a team that covers the full spectrum of clinical education, from foundational first aid through to advanced medical practice. You will deliver courses to corporate teams, operational personnel and healthcare professionals, bringing real-world experience into the classroom and the scenario. Positions are freelance at this time and linked to upcoming contracts. Work is allocated by contract, discipline, availability and location within the UAE.INSTRUCTOR DISCIPLINES WE ARE SEEKINGYou do not need to hold all four. Tell us which you hold, with expiry dates.ASHI: CPR, AED and first aid for mixed, often non-clinical groupsHighfield: assessed first aid and regulated qualifications, with accurate record-keepingACS: advanced courses for informed audiences, including healthcare professionalsNAEMT: scenario-based, assessment-led courses that build clinical judgementWHAT YOU WILL DODeliver classroom and practical clinical courses in line with each certifying body’s standardsRun realistic scenarios and lead debriefs that build understandingAssess learners fairly and consistently, with honest, constructive feedbackComplete course administration accurately and on time, including registers and certification paperworkPrepare and look after equipment, and keep the learning environment safe and respectfulRepresent Echelon professionally with clients, on site and in all communicationREQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)Valid, in-date instructor credentials in at least one of ASHI, Highfield, ACS or NAEMT, with all currency requirements up to date. Evidence will be requested.Proven instructing ability, with a track record of delivering effective, engaging courses to real groups of learnersReal-world clinical experience (for example clinical, paramedic, nursing, military medical, remote or emergency response) that you bring into the classroomUAE residency and the ability to work freelance in line with UAE requirements. We cannot sponsor visas or support relocation.Professionalism and reliability: punctual, well prepared and discreet with clientsStrong English communication, able to explain complex concepts clearly and calmly, including in high-pressure scenariosA genuine commitment to developing othersREQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED)More than one of our instructor disciplines, giving us flexibility when staffing contractsExperience in high-threat, remote or austere environments, such as military, humanitarian or expedition medicineExperience teaching corporate, security or operational teamsExperience teaching healthcare professionals at an advanced levelA formal teaching, training or assessing qualificationScenario design and simulation experience, including moulage and effective debriefingAssessor or quality assurance experienceAdditional languages, such as Arabic, Hindi, Urdu or TagalogFlexibility to travel between emirates, ideally with a UAE driving licenceWORKING WITH ECHELONEngagements are freelance and contract-based, not fixed-hours posts.
