Clinical Laboratory Scientist- Histology/IHC

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to support clinical laboratory operations and research activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical laboratory environment, preferably in histology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and FFPE sample processing.Experience with the Ventana Ultra Platform is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform laboratory testing and support clinical research activities.Handle and process FFPE (Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded) tissue samples.Support histology and immunohistochemistry (IHC) laboratory procedures.Operate automated laboratory equipment and maintain accurate documentation.Follow established laboratory protocols, SOPs, and quality standards.Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory safety and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with laboratory teams to ensure timely and accurate results.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Life Sciences or a related field.1–3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.Experience with FFPE sample processing.Knowledge of laboratory procedures and best practices.Strong teamwork, adaptability, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Histology or automated Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Hands-on experience with the Ventana Ultra Platform.Histotechnologist certification (HT or HTL).Previous clinical trial or research laboratory experience.
