CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR

Clinical Nurse Educator – Saudi ArabiaA Clinical Nurse Educator responsible for enhancing the knowledge, clinical skills, and professional competencies of nursing staff through education, mentorship, competency development, and evidence-based practice. The role focuses on supporting clinical excellence, patient safety, quality improvement, and continuous professional development across nursing services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deliver, and evaluate nursing education, training, orientation, and competency programmes.Identify learning and development needs and implement targeted educational initiatives.Develop competency assessment tools and provide feedback to support staff development.Lead orientation, mentorship, and preceptorship programmes for new and existing nurses.Promote evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and a culture of continuous learning.Provide clinical guidance and act as a subject matter expert within nursing and multidisciplinary teams.Support quality improvement, patient safety, policy development, accreditation readiness, and clinical practice enhancement.Participate in nursing committees, projects, system improvements, and the evaluation of new technologies and clinical workflows.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree and/or clinical teaching qualification preferred.Current professional Registered Nurse licence.Minimum 6 years of relevant nursing experience, with strong clinical and educational experience.Strong communication, project management, quality improvement, change management, and organisational skills.Full professional proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred.Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
