Who We AreBasepath Health is dedicated to expanding access to breakthrough cell and gene therapies. Basepath's AI-native operating platform for advanced therapies combines intelligent workflows across clinical, operational, and financial processes with longitudinal patient navigation. Basepath Health enables health systems to sustainably scale and manage cell and gene therapy delivery from patient identification through long-term outcomes while providing the foundation for value-aligned commercial models with pharmaceutical manufacturers and payers.Founded by experienced healthcare and technology operators, Basepath is built at the convergence of two transformative shifts: the rapid advancement of AI and the dawn of curative medicines. Cell and gene therapies represent potentially curative treatments for once untreatable, life-threatening genetic diseases. However, the complex logistical, clinical, and financial infrastructure needed to deliver these therapies at scale does not exist today. At Basepath, you will build the category-defining advanced therapies operating system for the next generation of medicine. The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Clinical Operations Lead with exceptional process rigor, a builder’s mindset, and deep health system operating experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as our primary clinical subject matter expert, chief architect of our standard operating procedures (SOPs), and lead operator driving our health system integrations.Your mission is two-fold. First, working directly with our partner health systems, you will architect and operationalize Basepath’s operating model for cell and gene therapy delivery. You will map complex clinical and administrative workflows into detailed standard operating procedures, communication protocols, and governance controls that ensure seamless patient care from identification through long-term follow-up. Second, you will build the foundation to scale. You will oversee our Basepath Patient Navigator team, optimize ongoing operations and service delivery, and establish a repeatable health system implementation and onboarding framework that accelerates future partner launches. This is a high-leverage role for a rigorous operator who loves staying close to the work. You will partner closely with our CEO, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure the Basepath platform reflects how clinical work actually gets done on the ground.

You can write SOPs, map the detailed workflows, create training materials, and design governance controls.· Implementation & Go-Live Experience: Hands-on experience driving at least one end-to-end launch of a clinical program or tech-enabled clinical services platform inside a health system. You have personally managed the project plan, stakeholder alignment, workflow customization, staff training, go-live, and transition to steady state.· Early-Stage Team Builder: Experience building teams at the earliest stages, hiring, training, and managing clinical or operational staff, with a focus on building durable, scalable processes and systems over relying on individual efforts.· Exceptional Communication & EQ: Clear, concise communicator capable of translating effortlessly between health system executives, clinicians, program staff, patients and families, pharmaceutical manufacturer partners, and our Product and Engineering teams.· Bachelor's degree required, with a master's in a relevant field (MHA, MS), preferred.Bonus Points For:· Prior experience in a role with similar responsibilities at an early-stage, high-growth digital health startup· Hands-on experience with Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, or other major enterprise EHRs as a clinical informaticist, super-user, or workflow designer· Direct experience with cell and gene therapy delivery, CAR-T, gene therapy for sickle cell disease or other rare diseases, stem cell transplant and apheresis programs, including manufacturer site qualification and activation, REMS programs, and FACT accreditation· Experience with accreditation, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FACT, URAC, Joint Commission)· Active use of modern AI and automation tools to compound personal output; accelerating workflow mapping, SOP drafting, and operational executionKey ResponsibilitiesCore Operating Model & Partner Implementation· Partner closely with the CEO and Basepath’s partner health systems’ leadership to take ownership of Basepath’s core clinical operating model and drive day-to-day operational execution.· Serve as the primary operational lead and main point of contact for health system partners’ cross-functional teams (e.g., physicians, pharmacy, nursing, care coordination, revenue cycle, IT, and compliance), owning the implementation plan, working sessions, and executive governance reporting.· Author and maintain Basepath’s SOP library, including standard operating procedures and workflows, escalation pathways, and quality controls across the health system, Basepath Patient Navigator, manufacturer, and payer touchpoints.· Collaborate with partner health system IT teams and Basepath Product and Engineering teams to configure platform workflows, define EHR and data exchange requirements, and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and training to ensure software reflects real-world care delivery operations from day one.Patient Navigation & Clinical Operations· Lead Basepath’s patient navigation operations, including direct management and development of our Patient Navigator team.
