What’s on Offer Competitive salary up to £51,00025 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (33 days total)GPhC fees paidEnhanced pension schemePrivate medical insuranceGym membershipOnline GP serviceCycle to Work schemeSeason ticket loanExcellent career progression opportunities Key Responsibilities Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and therapeutic drug monitoringOptimise medicines use through evidence-based interventions across acute and long-term conditionsSupport prescribing decisions through clinical assessment, risk evaluation, and formulary guidanceLead medicines optimisation initiatives aligned with national and local guidelinesContribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines, protocols, and policiesMonitor medicines usage, governance, and safety incidents, participating in audits, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiativesWork collaboratively across Theatres, Wards, and the Dispensary to ensure safe and effective medicines management About You We are keen to speak with Pharmacists who: Are GPhC registered with at least one year of post-registration experienceHave experience within hospital pharmacyPossess strong clinical knowledge and experience in medicines optimisationHave a solid understanding of governance, audits, and quality standardsDemonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAre confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary teamHave experience mentoring or supporting junior colleaguesAre passionate about delivering exceptional patient care You will be organised, resilient under pressure, and confident influencing others while maintaining the highest professional standards. Location Based in Cambridge, this hospital is easily commutable from Ely, Peterborough, Royson, Bury-St-Edmonds, Newmarket, Huntingdon, St Neots, Biggleswade and Bishops Stortford.
