Guided by a vision to transform the healthcare delivery system in Pakistan, IHHN continues to expand its footprint to make quality healthcare accessible to every individual in the country.Role Description This full-time, on-site Clinical Pharmacist role is based at The Indus Hospital in Muzaffargarh. The Clinical Pharmacist will provide evidence-based pharmaceutical care, including reviewing and verifying medication orders, monitoring therapy for safety and effectiveness, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients and caregivers on proper medication use, managing medication histories, ensuring accurate dispensing and compounding where required, and contributing to antimicrobial stewardship and other clinical initiatives. The role also involves maintaining compliance with hospital policies and national regulations, supporting inventory management, participating in clinical audits and quality improvement activities, and engaging in ongoing professional development and training.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy, with a solid understanding of hospital and clinical workflows.Candidates should demonstrate expertise in Pharmaceutical Care and Medicine, including therapeutic drug monitoring and evidence-based prescribing support.Candidates should have practical competence in Compounding, including the preparation of sterile and non-sterile formulations as per standards.Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from an accredited institution; valid registration with the relevant pharmacy council.Prior experience as a clinical or hospital pharmacist is preferred, especially in high-volume or tertiary care settings.Strong communication, counseling, and interprofessional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.Attention to detail, adherence to ethical and safety standards, and ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to continuous learning, participation in training programs, and alignment with IHHN’s mission of equitable, free-of-cost healthcare.
