Working closely with the Lead Pharmacist and wider multidisciplinary teams, you will clinically screen prescriptions, provide expert medicines advice, support dispensing activities, and ensure patients receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care.You will also contribute to service development initiatives, clinical governance activities, and the ongoing training and support of pharmacy colleagues. Whether you are an experienced Pharmacist or newly qualified, you will be encouraged to develop your clinical expertise within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.What's on OfferCompetitive salary of up to £54,054 per annumGPhC registration fees fully paidCompany pension schemeGenerous annual leave entitlement with incremental increases based on length of serviceOpportunity to earn up to an additional week's annual leave after five years' serviceFree on-site parkingStructured training and development programmeClear opportunities for career progression and advancementAccess to a modern, purpose-built outpatient pharmacy environmentSupportive leadership team and collaborative working cultureExcellent work-life balance with sociable working hoursOne-hour lunch break, including 30 minutes paidKey ResponsibilitiesClinically screen and validate prescriptions to ensure safe and appropriate prescribing.Provide expert medicines information, advice, and counselling to patients and healthcare professionals.Support the safe dispensing and supply of medicines, including high-risk medications.Act as the Responsible Pharmacist when required, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.Deliver and support clinical services, accuracy checking activities, and patient-facing pharmacy services.Identify and resolve medication-related issues, escalating concerns where appropriate.Monitor prescription volumes and support effective workload management across the pharmacy.Contribute to continuous quality improvement projects and service development initiatives.Participate in clinical governance activities, audits, and risk management processes.Support the training, development, and supervision of pharmacy team members.Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of record keeping.Ensure ongoing compliance with GPhC standards and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess a genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering safe, effective pharmacy services.You will have:Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with no adverse Fitness to Practise historyAn MPharm degree or equivalent Pharmacy qualificationCurrent UK pharmacy experience (pre-registration experience will be considered)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to adapt communication styles to meet individual patient needs, including overcoming barriers such as language, hearing impairment, or learning difficultiesStrong organisational and time-management skillsExperience using pharmacy dispensing and clinical systemsA demonstrable commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)Fluent written and spoken EnglishA clear DBS check or willingness to undergo oneWhy Join?This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a progressive pharmacy service that combines clinical excellence with a strong focus on employee wellbeing and professional growth.
