Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Outpatient Infusion / OncologyPGY1 Residency Required | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Greater AtlantaThe OpportunityA well-established, community-focused health system in the Greater Atlanta area is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join its outpatient Infusion/Oncology pharmacy team.This is a rare Monday–Friday, day-shift opportunity — no nights, weekends, or rotating call — suited to a PharmD who wants meaningful oncology-focused clinical practice paired with real work-life balance.In this role, you will serve as the pharmacotherapy expert for a patient population spanning neonates through geriatric adults, providing direct clinical consultation, resolving complex medication-related issues, and helping shape evidence-based treatment protocols alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team.Benefits

• Clinical pharmacy experience in an infusion/oncology
• Experience precepting residents/students, serving on a P&T Committee, or leading medication-safety initiatives Required Qualifications
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency
• Active pharmacist licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in GeorgiaKey Responsibilities
• Identify and resolve medication-related issues through interdisciplinary rounds, profile review, and consult management
• Recommend evidence-based, cost-effective, and safe pharmacotherapy across neonatal through geriatric patients
• Partner with the Medication Safety team to detect, mitigate, and prevent adverse drug events
• Support the antimicrobial stewardship program through formulary compliance review, targeted interventions, and prescriber education
• Develop and maintain evidence-based treatment pathways, protocols, and order sets
• Serve as a preceptor for the pharmacy residency program and pharmacy students, helping train the next generation of clinical pharmacists
• Respond to drug information requests and provide medication education to patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Serve as an active voice on the P&T Committee and system-wide clinical committees (Antimicrobial Stewardship, Sepsis, Stroke, and related disease-state groups)
• Represent the pharmacy department during regulatory surveys and support ongoing compliance with medication management standards
