American Wellness Center’s vision is to be a regional leader in healthcare disciplines by elevating professional standards while compassionately serving the needs and best interests of its clients.Role Description This full-time, on-site role in Dubai is for a Clinical Psychologist – Arabic Speaking – Pediatric & Adult. The clinician will provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions for pediatric and adult clients, including individual, family, and group therapy. Daily responsibilities include conducting structured clinical interviews, administering and interpreting psychological and educational tests, preparing clear clinical reports, and collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans. The role involves delivering culturally sensitive care in Arabic and English, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings. The Clinical Psychologist may also contribute to preventive mental health programs, psychoeducation for families and schools, and, where appropriate, clinical supervision and mentoring of junior staff.QualificationsDemonstrated expertise in Psychology and Counseling Psychology, with experience treating both pediatric and adult populations.Proficiency in Psychological Testing, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized assessment tools.Strong background in Mental Health care, including diagnosis and evidence-based treatment of a wide range of psychological and psychiatric conditions.Experience in Clinical Supervision, case consultation, or mentoring within multidisciplinary mental health settings.Valid DHA or CDA license/eligibility is required.Fluency in Arabic and strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field, from an accredited institution.Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the UAE (or ability to obtain registration in Dubai Healthcare City).Prior experience in hospital, clinic, or community mental health settings, preferably within multicultural or Middle Eastern contexts.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and to maintain high ethical and professional standards.Strong organizational skills, commitment to ongoing professional development, and familiarity with evidence-based, culturally responsive interventions.
