The ideal candidate must hold a valid Department of Health (DOH) Psychologist License and have experience supporting the mental health, emotional well-being, and academic success of children and adolescents.Job Description: Conduct psychological assessments, behavioral evaluations, and mental health screenings for students.Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' emotional, behavioral, social, and academic development.Develop and implement individualized intervention and treatment plans based on students' needs and evidence-based practices.Collaborate closely with school administrators, teachers, nurses, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student well-being.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and student support plans when required.Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for students experiencing emotional or psychological distress.Educate students, parents, and school staff on mental health awareness, coping strategies, stress management, and emotional resilience.Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with DOH regulations and professional ethical standards.Monitor students' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as needed.Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment that supports students' mental health and overall well-being.Participate in continuing professional development, case discussions, and departmental meetings to maintain clinical excellence.
