The organization offers opportunities to contribute to improving health outcomes and access to quality care in the region.Role Description The Clinical Psychologist will provide evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients across different age groups in an on-site, full-time role located in Gulbarga. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake interviews, administering and interpreting psychological tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role involves delivering counseling and psychotherapy, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and ethical standards. The Clinical Psychologist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, participate in case discussions, and may offer clinical supervision or guidance to trainees or junior staff. The position also includes contributing to mental health awareness within the hospital and supporting quality improvement initiatives in psychological services.QualificationsStrong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to clinical practice.Proficiency in Psychological Testing, including selection, administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized assessments.Skills in Counseling Psychology, with experience providing individual and, where appropriate, family or group interventions.Experience or readiness to engage in Clinical Supervision, supporting the development of students, interns, or junior clinicians.Master’s or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field from a recognized institution.Relevant licensure, registration, or eligibility to practice as a Clinical Psychologist per local regulatory requirements.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and continuous professional development.
