The Clinical Psychologist will mainly conduct psychological assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs. Responsibilities include monitoring client progress, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. The role may involve providing clinical consultation, participating in case conferences, and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives. The Clinical Psychologist will also support a culture of ethical practice, inclusivity, and continuous learning.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Counseling Psychology, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical practice.Proficiency in Psychological Testing, including selection, administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized assessments.Extensive experience working in Mental Health settings, providing evidence-based interventions for diverse populations.Ability to offer Clinical Supervision and mentorship to trainees or junior clinicians, as appropriate.Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.Current or eligible licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Iowa.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with strong professional boundaries and ethical judgment.Experience working with individuals from varied backgrounds, with a commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed care.Comfort using electronic health record systems and adhering to regulatory, privacy, and compliance standards.
