SAKINA focuses on specialized mental health and wellbeing services, providing comprehensive psychological and psychiatric care through a multidisciplinary team approach.Position SummarySEHA SAKINA is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our growing mental health team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and counseling services to patients across various age groups, supporting their mental health and emotional wellbeing.Preference will be given to candidates who are available for immediate joining, hold a valid DOH License, and are fluent in both Arabic and English.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans.Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy.Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral issues.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with DOH and SEHA standards.Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and treatment planning.Provide psychoeducation to patients, families, and caregivers.Support crisis intervention and risk assessment when required.Ensure compliance with all SEHA, DOH, and regulatory requirements.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.Qualifications & RequirementsEssentialMaster's Degree or Doctorate (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.Valid DOH License as Clinical Psychologist or eligibility for DOH licensing.Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital, mental health center, or multidisciplinary healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.PreferredFluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, psychiatry, or community mental health services.Immediate availability to join.Experience in culturally diverse healthcare environments.CompetenciesPatient-centered approachEmpathy and emotional intelligenceStrong clinical judgment and decision-makingAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary teamsExcellent organizational and documentation skillsCommitment to ethical and professional practice
