About the Role

Luma Fertility is looking for a compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist to support individuals and couples navigating their fertility journey.This role is ideal for someone empathetic, patient-focused, and passionate about integrating psychological wellbeing into reproductive healthcare. You will work closely with patients, doctors, and the clinical team to provide emotional and psychological support across different stages of fertility treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychological counselling to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments.Conduct psychological assessments and provide emotional support throughout IVF and other fertility treatment cycles.Help patients manage stress, anxiety, treatment-related uncertainty, and relationship challenges.Support patients in developing healthy coping mechanisms throughout their fertility journey.Provide grief and loss counselling following unsuccessful treatment cycles, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, or other difficult outcomes.Offer crisis intervention and emotional first aid during high-stress points in the treatment journey, including infertility diagnosis, failed transfers, and unsuccessful cycles.Support patients and couples in navigating emotionally complex treatment decisions, including continuing, pausing, or stopping treatment and exploring alternative paths to parenthood.Collaborate closely with fertility specialists, doctors, clinical coordinators, and the broader care team to ensure holistic patient support.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and confidential patient records.Design and facilitate patient support groups, workshops, and psychoeducation sessions focused on coping strategies, emotional wellbeing, and fertility-related concerns.Help build and strengthen psychological support protocols and resources for Luma's patients.Maintain high standards of professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and clinical care.Must Have:Master's / MPhil in Clinical Psychology or a relevant discipline.RCI registration is a plus, but not mandatory.2–5 years of relevant clinical or counselling experience.Prior experience in fertility, reproductive health, gynaecology, women's health, hospitals, or healthcare settings is strongly preferred.Strong counselling, communication, and interpersonal skills.Empathetic, ethical, and patient-centred approach.Ability to work sensitively with individuals and couples experiencing emotional distress.Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.Why Join Luma?Work at a fast-growing, next-generation fertility company.Be part of building a more holistic and emotionally supportive fertility experience.Work closely with fertility specialists and a multidisciplinary clinical team.Opportunity to meaningfully impact patients and couples during an important stage of their lives.Be part of a patient-centric culture that values empathy, clinical excellence, and innovation.
