Kalliopi Support Services values professional integrity, continuous learning, and multidisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes for clients.Role Description This full-time, Clinical Psychologist role is based in Blacktown, NSW. The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions to individuals experiencing a range of mental health and psychosocial difficulties. Day-to-day tasks include conducting clinical interviews, administering and interpreting psychological tests, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions such as CBT and other appropriate modalities. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with support workers and other health professionals, providing clinical input into service plans, and participating in case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings. The Clinical Psychologist may also offer clinical supervision to team members and contribute to service development, quality improvement, and community outreach initiatives.QualificationsSolid foundation in Psychology, with the ability to apply theoretical and clinical knowledge in practice.Demonstrated experience in Psychological Testing, including assessment, interpretation, and reporting.Strong background in Mental Health, including assessment, risk management, and evidence-based interventions.Experience in Clinical Supervision, supporting and mentoring other practitioners in best-practice care.Skills in Counseling Psychology, including individual therapy, formulation, and treatment planning.Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Psychologist with the relevant professional board; endorsement or progress toward endorsement in Clinical Psychology is highly regarded.Relevant postgraduate qualification in Psychology (e.g., Master or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity in working with people from diverse backgrounds.Ability to manage a caseload, maintain professional boundaries, and uphold ethical and legal standards in clinical practice.
