Urology Associates also conducts clinical research and trials, provides advanced therapeutic options for prostate and bladder cancer, and operates the Nashville Men's Health clinic for physician-monitored treatment of ED and low testosterone.Role Description The Clinical Research Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashville, TN. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing clinical trials, including patient recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up according to study protocols and regulatory requirements. The coordinator will obtain and document informed consent, maintain accurate and timely source documentation, and ensure data collection, entry, and query resolution meet sponsor and regulatory standards. Daily activities include communicating with investigators, research staff, sponsors, and monitors; scheduling and conducting study visits; processing specimens; and supporting compliance with institutional, state, and federal guidelines. The role also involves maintaining study files, preparing for monitoring visits and audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of clinical research processes.Qualifications Ability to manage Informed Consent processes, including explaining study details and documenting participant consent.Experience working with study Protocols, ensuring strict adherence to inclusion/exclusion criteria, visit schedules, and procedural requirements.Strong Research skills, including literature review, data collection, and documentation in a clinical setting.Demonstrated Clinical Research Experience coordinating Clinical Trials in a healthcare environment.Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, and regulatory requirements for human subject research.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple studies and timelines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with participants, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical trial management or data capture systems.Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred; CCRP or similar certification is an advantage.Prior experience in urology, oncology, or related specialty is beneficial.
