Led by practicing rheumatologist Dr. Tamar F. Brionez, the clinic integrates evidence-based care with participation in clinical trials to advance treatment options. The team works closely with patients to provide personalized, compassionate care while contributing to the broader rheumatology research community. The practice offers a collaborative environment where clinical staff and research professionals partner to improve outcomes and expand access to innovative therapies.Role Description This full-time, on-site Clinical Research Coordinator role is based in The Woodlands, TX. The Clinical Research Coordinator will manage day-to-day study operations, including scheduling and conducting study visits, collecting and documenting clinical data, and ensuring protocol adherence. Responsibilities include coordinating informed consent discussions, maintaining regulatory and study documentation, and communicating with sponsors, monitors, and internal clinical staff. The role also involves tracking timelines, monitoring participant safety, reporting adverse events, and supporting quality assurance for all clinical trial activities. The coordinator will contribute to continuous process improvement and help maintain a patient-centered, compliant research environment.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of demonstrated clinical research experience, including participation in complex clinical trials and familiarity with research workflows.Ability to manage informed consent processes and ensure participant understanding and documentation.Experience working with study protocols, including implementing protocol requirements and maintaining compliance.Strong research skills, including data collection, source documentation, and accuracy in record-keeping.Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and IRB processes.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple studies or tasks simultaneously.Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, physicians, sponsors, and monitors.Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, email).Ability to collect, process, and ship lab specimens.Prior experience in an outpatient clinical setting or rheumatology is beneficial.4 Year bachelor’s degree is required.Spanish is a plusOut-of-State applicants will not be considered.Must be a U.S. citizen.Must be within a reasonable driving distance to the clinic.Salary Position 55,000 to 85,000
