Apply & track with Apply EdgeNursing Service Delivery Lead – Central ScotlandUp to £31 per hour (umbrella) + weekend enhancementsStarting April | Ongoing projectPulse’s AHP Team is recruiting experienced Nursing Service Delivery Leads to support an established Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research Programme as it enters its next phase.This is a flexible, shift-based role (similar to bank work), ideal for senior nurses seeking part-time leadership responsibility alongside other commitments. Candidates should be available 2–3 days per week within a 7-day service.The RoleWorking across mobile research units in the Central Scotland area (locations rotate every 5–6 weeks), you will provide clinical and operational leadership to Healthcare Support Workers and phlebotomy teams, ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery.Key responsibilities include:Clinical leadership and supervision of HSWsOversight of phlebotomy services and standardsEnsuring governance, compliance, and quality targets are metActing as first point of escalation for operational issuesSupporting staff breaks in a supernumerary capacityManaging staff attendance and shift schedulingReporting directly to the Lead NurseEssential RequirementsRegistered Nurse with experience in a lead or supervisory roleProven phlebotomy experience (hands-on competence required)Ability to work 2–3 days per weekWillingness to fully register with PulseDriving licence highly beneficial due to mobile sitesAbout the ProgrammeThis role supports a large-scale health research initiative designed to help people live healthier lives for longer.
