Clinical Research Recruitment SpecialistLocation: Los Angeles, CA 90015 (On-site)Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:30pmPay: $30.00–$34.00 per hourPosition Summary:We are seeking a Clinical Research Recruitment Specialist to support participant enrollment for clinical research studies focused on metabolic health, including diabetes, obesity, fatty liver disease, and related conditions.This role is responsible for connecting with potential study participants, conducting phone pre-screens, scheduling study visits, and maintaining communication throughout the recruitment process. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and comfortable speaking with people over the phone while managing multiple studies at once.Responsibilities:Respond to participant inquiries received by phone, email, text, social media, and online advertising.Contact potential participants promptly and provide information about available clinical studies.Conduct phone pre-screenings to determine eligibility based on study criteria.Schedule screening visits and maintain communication with participants throughout the enrollment process.Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and enrolled study participants.Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications to improve participant retention.Answer participant questions while maintaining confidentiality and following study protocols.Assist with community outreach events, health fairs, and other recruitment activities.Support social media and digital recruitment efforts by helping create and post approved study content.Track participant outreach, recruitment activity, and enrollment metrics using internal databases and sponsor systems.Document participant interactions accurately and maintain organized recruitment records.Work closely with study coordinators, investigators, and other research staff to meet enrollment goals.Assist with general site operations and administrative tasks as needed.Qualifications:Strong customer service, patient engagement, call center, or participant outreach experience.Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and conducting multiple follow-up attempts with prospective participants.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly.Experience managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and optimizing calendar availability.Ability to track and move referrals through a recruitment pipeline while maintaining accurate records.Experience identifying participant needs and discussing additional opportunities or programs that may be appropriate for them.Social media and digital marketing experience, including creating, editing, and posting content across multiple platforms.Basic website content management experience is preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to learn study-specific information quickly using provided scripts, training materials, and recruitment resources.
