Company DescriptionSTRATA Skin Sciences, a leader in phototherapy and dermatologic innovation, is hiring a Clinical Specialist to support our growing Western region, based in Phoenix, AZ or the Greater Los Angeles area. If you’re passionate about dermatology, clinical education, medical technology, and improving patient outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.This role requires 40-60% travel, and prior experience with XTRAC is a plus. Role Description The key responsibility of this position is to provide clinical education, training, and support on the company’s products to both customers and internal sales teams, with the goal of delivering excellent customer service, improving patient outcomes, and supporting business growth. The primary focus is a medical laser and acne device used to treat a variety of skin conditions. This position is responsible for identifying training needs, delivering effective clinical education to customers and employees, strengthening the sales team’s clinical knowledge and product expertise, and supporting educational initiatives. The role serves as a key clinical resource and partners closely with sales and cross-functional teams to enhance product knowledge, support customer success, advance patient outcomes, and drive overall business success.QualificationsStrong Communication skills for interacting with clinicians, staff, and internal teams, including clear presentation and documentation abilities.Foundational knowledge of Medicine or healthcare, ideally with experience in dermatology or related therapeutic areas.Training skills to deliver effective product and clinical workflow education to healthcare professionals in various practice settings.Outstanding leadership, teaching and training skills.Proven ability to mentor and train clinical staff or teams effectively.Bachelor’s degree in a health science, life science, or related field, or certification as a Medical Assistant, Register Nurse or equivalent practical experience.Ability to travel 40% to 60%. including overnight travel, primarily within the assigned territories outlined above, with occasional travel to other regions nationwide as business needs require.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsComfort with medical technology and willingness to learn advanced dermatologic treatment systems.
