Clinical Supervisor / Supervising Clinician — Part-Time 1099 ContractorWhat About Me Community Services, LLCBoise, Idaho | Primarily Remote | Statewide Idaho ServicesApproximately 6 hours per month once established, with potential to growWhat About Me Community Services was created from a deeply personal belief: people deserve to be seen, heard, and supported—especially when life has become overwhelming and the systems meant to help feel impossible to navigate. We are building something intentionally different. Our goal is not to move people through a system as quickly as possible. It is to meet them where they are, understand the barriers standing in their way, and help them move forward with dignity, respect, and real support. As we prepare to serve individuals and families across Idaho, we are looking for a Clinical Supervisor who believes in that mission. Someone who understands that good clinical oversight is more than reviewing documentation—it is helping create a culture where quality, ethics, compassion, accountability, and person-centered care are built into everything we do.This is an opportunity to help shape a small organization from the beginning and play a meaningful role in building services that truly ask the question behind our name:About What About MeWhat About Me Community Services was created around a simple idea: people should not be forgotten simply because the systems they need are difficult to navigate. We are building a person-centered, culturally responsive community services organization focused initially on behavioral-health case management throughout Idaho. Our work emphasizes advocacy, coordination, dignity, access to resources, and helping individuals and families move toward greater stability and independence. We are seeking an independently licensed Idaho clinician to serve as our Clinical Supervisor / Supervising Clinician as we launch and grow. The RoleThis is a small, flexible 1099 independent contractor position designed for a licensed clinician who enjoys mentoring, quality assurance, Medicaid compliance, and helping build a strong program from the ground up.The position is primarily oversight and consultation rather than direct day-to-day management or maintaining a regular caseload.Initially, the role is expected to require approximately 4 hours per month once established, although hours may increase as the organization grows and if that interests you. ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Supervisor will:Provide clinical supervision and consultation to case management staff and leadership.Participate in and support required Medicaid/managed-care supervisory protocols and credentialing processes.Review client records, service plans, assessments, and documentation for quality and compliance.Conduct periodic chart audits and document findings and corrective follow-up when necessary.Provide guidance regarding complex cases, boundaries, ethics, risk, cultural considerations, and coordination of care.Support documentation practices that demonstrate medical necessity and appropriate service delivery.Assist with development and review of clinical policies, supervision procedures, quality-assurance practices, and escalation pathways.Be available for consultation regarding significant clinical or safety concerns.Maintain appropriate documentation of supervision and consultation.Help ensure services remain person-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and consistent with Idaho Medicaid and applicable professional standards.QualificationsCandidates should have:A current, unrestricted Idaho independent clinical license appropriate for the supervisory arrangement, such as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.An active individual NPI.Eligibility to participate in applicable Idaho Medicaid and managed-care credentialing requirements.Professional liability insurance.Experience in behavioral health, community-based services, case management, Medicaid, or a related setting.Strong understanding of documentation, clinical boundaries, ethics, risk management, and quality assurance.Ability to provide thoughtful supervision while supporting a small organization that is intentionally growing at a responsible pace.Supervisory and Medicaid experience is strongly preferred. What Makes This DifferentThis is not a high-volume corporate clinical supervisor position. You would be helping shape a new Idaho organization from the beginning, with an owner who has extensive leadership, compliance, audit, workforce, and community-service experience and who is committed to building the program correctly rather than simply building it quickly. The goal is to create a service where people feel heard, supported, and genuinely helped.Position Details
