- Germany-based Clinical Specialist: covering Germany, the United Kingdom, Benelux, and the Nordic countries.
- Spain-based Clinical Specialist: covering the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and supporting activities in Italy.
- Austria-based Clinical Specialist: covering Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe.
The country of residence is flexible and can be discussedThese field-based roles will work closely with healthcare professionals, distributor partners, and the commercial team to ensure clinical excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth throughout the region.To support business continuity, the Clinical Support Specialist may be required to provide case coverage outside their assigned territory when needed.Within the MicroPort CardioFlow Structural Heart team, you will serve as our field-based clinical expert for our TAVI and LAAC portfolio across Europe. Working closely with physicians, hospital teams, distributors and the commercial organization, you will provide clinical and technical support throughout the entire patient pathway—from case planning and procedural guidance to post-procedural follow-up.As the clinical ambassador of MicroPort CardioFlow, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe and successful procedures, delivering high-quality physician education, supporting customer training and driving the adoption of our innovative Structural Heart technologies across Europe.Your missions will be as follows Provide on-site clinical and technical support to physicians, cath-lab and hospital teams during MicroPort Structural Heart procedures across Europe.Act as the clinical and procedural reference on MicroPort's Structural Heart portfolio, including device selection, sizing, imaging interpretation and procedural workflow.Assist and train new implanting physicians and hospital staff on the safe and effective use of MicroPort devices, ensuring compliance with company clinical guidelines and instructions for use.Build and maintain strong clinical relationships with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, and cath-lab staff.Support the opening, training and certification of new centers within the assigned territory, in accordance with company certification process.Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical assistance during complex or difficult cases.Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs and Regulatory teams to align field activity with company strategy.Whenever required by Clinical Affairs team, support enrollment and follow-up in clinical registries, post-market studies and investigator-initiated trials.Represent MicroPort at key international and local congresses, and support local workshops, proctorships and physician education programs.Report adverse events, technical complaints and product feedback in strict compliance with MicroPort's quality and regulatory procedures.Monitor the competitive landscape in the field and share clinical intelligence with Marketing and Sales.Contribute to the development of clinical training materials, procedural guides and objection-handling tools.Identify clinical opportunities to expand therapy adoption and contribute to account development strategies through clinical expertise. Ensure strict compliance with hospital hygiene, sterility, radiation safety and regulatory requirements during all on-site interventions.Additional responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely records of field activities, case reports and customer interactions.Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to ensure effective management of consigned inventory and accurate device traceability across assigned customer accounts.Support the onboarding and mentoring of new Clinical Support Specialists within the region.Assist Regulatory and Quality Affairs with field safety notices, complaint investigations and corrective actions when required.Support distributor training and clinical assistance in indirect markets, where applicable.Share field insights and customer feedback with R&D and Upstream Marketing to inform product development.Help organize and coordinate physician proctoring visits and international training sessions (e.g., centers of excellence, simulation centers). Your profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences or a related healthcare discipline.3-5+ years of clinical, field or technical support experience within the medical device industry, ideally in Structural Heart or Interventional Cardiology.Hands-on experience with TAVI and/or LAAC procedures strongly preferred; cath-lab or clinical background is a strong asset.Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology and imaging (CT-scan, echocardiography, fluoroscopy).Comfortable and able to remain calm and efficient in sterile, high-pressure clinical environments alongside physicians and hospital teams.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with key opinion leaders.Autonomous, well-organized, and able to manage a multi-country European territory independently.Fluent English, written and spoken, is mandatory; fluency in a second European language (German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or other) is highly desirable.Extensive travel across Europe is required (more than 80% of working time). Flexibility to travel at short notice, including overnight stays. Valid passport and European driving license is required.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Proficiency with imaging and sizing software (e.g., 3mensio, FluoroCT or similar) is a plus.
