Cloud Architect with German

Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join their Cloud Operations team and play a key role in shaping the cloud strategy and architecture behind large-scale enterprise solutions.This is an opportunity to work in a highly complex AWS environment, partnering with development teams, engineering leaders, and customers to design secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions that support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.What You'll DoDefine, design, and govern cloud architectures for enterprise-scale solutions hosted on AWS.Partner with development teams to create secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments.Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance on solution design, integrations, APIs, and cloud adoption strategies.Define cloud governance standards, security models, and architectural best practices across the organization.Design and oversee infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Drive continuous improvement of existing cloud platforms, focusing on performance, resilience, scalability, and operational excellence.Review deployment strategies, technical requirements, and architectural decisions across multiple projects.Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.Act as a trusted advisor for cloud transformation initiatives and customer engagements.Mentor DevOps Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Automation Engineers, providing technical leadership across teams.What We're Looking For6+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Cloud Infrastructure Architect, or a similar senior cloud-focused role.Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale AWS solutions.AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.Deep expertise with AWS services including: EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Cloud Networking and SecurityProven experience with: Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as CodeStrong understanding of: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Cloud Governance, System Integration Patterns, SDLC and DevOps best practicesHands-on experience with APIs and modern architectures, including: REST APIs, OAuth, SSO, Microservices, Micro FrontendsExperience with GitLab as the primary CI/CD platform.Programming knowledge in at least one of the following: Python (preferred), Bash, Go, Java, PowerShellExperience with relational and NoSQL databases.Strong focus on cloud security, compliance, and vulnerability management.Nice to HaveJenkins experience.Experience in large enterprise environments with multiple products and development teams.Previous experience driving cloud transformation programs.Advanced expertise in Kubernetes and container-based platforms.Language RequirementsFluent EnglishFluent German (mandatory)
