With a decade of experience in the region and a team that possesses extensive knowledge of the market, we provide a fully integrated HR solution.We are currently recruiting a Cloud Architecture & Cyber Resilience Specialist for our client, based in Dubai, UAE for a period of 26 Months.Job Purpose:To lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable, and highly resilient cloud environments. The role will be responsible for driving cloud architecture strategy, secure cloud adoption, cyber resilience initiatives, disaster recovery capabilities, and cloud security governance across the organization.The successful candidate will ensure that critical business systems remain secure, available, and recoverable in the face of cyber threats, operational disruptions, and evolving technology risks while supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & StrategyDesign and govern enterprise cloud architecture frameworks aligned with business and technology objectives.Lead cloud transformation, migration, and modernization initiatives across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.Define standards, best practices, and governance models for cloud infrastructure, security, scalability, and performance.Collaborate with technology teams to ensure optimal cloud solution architecture and operational efficiency.Drive cloud cost optimization, availability, reliability, and capacity planning initiatives.Cyber Resilience & RecoveryDevelop and maintain enterprise cyber resilience strategies and frameworks.Lead disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) planning activities.Conduct resilience assessments, recovery simulations, tabletop exercises, and recovery testing.Validate recovery capabilities to ensure timely restoration of critical services following cyber incidents.Improve incident response preparedness and organizational recovery readiness.Cloud Security & Risk ManagementOversee security architecture reviews for cloud-based applications and platforms.Implement cloud security controls aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Lead vulnerability management, threat detection, security monitoring, and risk mitigation activities.Collaborate with security operations teams to identify and address emerging cyber threats.Ensure cloud environments remain secure, compliant, and resilient.Governance & ComplianceEnsure adherence to organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Support audits, compliance assessments, and security governance reviews.Establish cloud security and resilience metrics, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.Promote a culture of security awareness, operational resilience, and risk management across the organization.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.7-10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, or Enterprise Architecture roles.Strong experience designing and managing cloud environments within Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.Proven experience in Cyber Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Incident Response.Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture, threat management, vulnerability management, and security frameworks.Experience developing cloud governance and security standards.Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.Certification: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 22301 Business Continuity CertificationNative Arabic Speakers required.
