Cloud Platforms Capability LeadSalary: Up to £140,000 + bonus

Location: UK WideWe are working with a leading technology consultancy on a senior leadership opportunity within their growing Cloud Platforms capability.This is a strategic leadership position for an experienced Cloud Platforms / Cloud Architecture leader who has progressed into Head of, Director, Practice or Capability leadership and has experience shaping, developing and scaling a significant technology capability.You will play a key role in defining the future direction of Cloud Platforms, combining strong technical credibility with strategic leadership, commercial awareness and a genuine focus on developing people.The RoleYou will be responsible for helping shape and grow the Cloud Platforms capability, including:Developing and executing the Cloud Platforms capability strategy.Providing technical leadership and thought leadership across cloud and platform engineering.Identifying future technology trends, skills and capabilities required to support continued growth.Leading workforce planning, talent development and capability building.Developing and supporting propositions, offerings and new areas of capability.Working closely with senior clients and stakeholders to understand challenges and shape appropriate technology solutions.Supporting pre-sales, business development and commercial growth.Building strong relationships across technology, delivery and commercial teams.Developing and mentoring senior technical leaders and helping create a strong culture of continuous development.Driving significant capability initiatives and ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of modern cloud engineering.About YouWe are particularly interested in individuals who have:Significant experience within a technology consultancy or professional services organisation — consultancy experience is essential.A strong background in Cloud Platforms, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering.Progressed from a senior technical/cloud architecture background into Head of, Director, Practice Lead or Capability Lead responsibilities.Experience leading and developing large technical teams or engineering capabilities.A track record of shaping capability or practice strategy and supporting organisational growth.Experience with workforce planning, talent development and building future technical skills.Strong client-facing and senior stakeholder management experience.Exposure to pre-sales, propositions, commercial development or business growth.The ability to combine technical credibility with strategic and commercial thinking.A genuine passion for developing people and building high-performing technology teams.Cloud TechnologyYou should have strong experience across modern cloud and platform engineering environments, with exposure to technologies such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP, alongside areas such as cloud-native engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, Kubernetes, automation and modern cloud operating models.Salary: Up to £140,000 + bonus
