We are currently looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer in the United States.This role sits at the core of a modern cloud engineering organization, responsible for building and operating highly scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure supporting global SaaS platforms. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining cloud-native environments, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering culture, you will help drive platform reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational excellence. The position blends hands-on engineering with automation, security, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to standardize and modernize cloud systems. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences system performance, scalability, and engineering productivity across the organization.AccountabilitiesDesign, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, reliable, and automated deployment processes.Optimize cloud environments for scalability, resiliency, performance, security, and cost efficiency.Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues across cloud and containerized environments.Collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, and operations teams to define and implement automation and platform improvements.Apply software engineering best practices to infrastructure development and automation workflows.Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment knowledge resources.Support containerized workloads and Kubernetes-based environments across Azure and other cloud platforms.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.4+ years of cloud infrastructure experience, with strong focus on Microsoft Azure.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or CloudFormation.Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems, source control tools (Git/GitHub), and DevOps practices.Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms (AKS, EKS, GKE, or OpenShift).Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, CLI tools, or REST APIs.Familiarity with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or OpenTelemetry.Understanding of cloud architecture principles including scalability, resiliency, identity, and security.Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.BenefitsCompetitive compensation ranging from $99,000 to $128,500, with potential variable compensation based on performance.Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Retirement savings plan (401k) and financial security benefits.Paid time off, holidays, and additional leave benefits.Professional development opportunities and access to training resources.Flexible remote work environment within the United States.Exposure to modern cloud-native technologies and enterprise-scale SaaS platforms.How Jobgether WorksWe use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
