Job Title: Cloud Technical SMELocation: Los Angeles || OnsiteDuration: 12+ MonthsInterview Mode: VideoJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Technical SME to provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and hands-on expertise across cloud transformation, migration, modernization, and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure, security, automation, and DevOps practices while serving as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders.The Cloud Technical SME will play a key role in designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions while supporting enterprise cloud adoption and optimization strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical authority for cloud architecture, infrastructure, and cloud-native solutions. Design and review cloud solutions for scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization. Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises environments to the cloud. Provide guidance on cloud governance, security, compliance, and best practices. Support cloud platform implementation, deployment, and operational activities. Collaborate with architects, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using automation tools. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues. Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend improvements. Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability strategies. Create technical documentation, standards, and architecture artifacts. Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across cloud projects. Required Skills8+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud engineering experience. Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft (Azure) Google (GCP) Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions. Strong knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and cloud governance. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep). Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred SkillsMulti-cloud architecture experience. Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms. Experience with serverless architectures. Cloud security and compliance expertise. Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization. Exposure to AI/ML cloud services.
