BQE CORE is our all-in-one SaaS platform that enables firms to manage projects, improve budget tracking and profitability, and streamline operations through automation.Why Join UsWork with a modern cloud and application reliability stackBe part of our CloudOps and Application Reliability strategyWork in a collaborative and supportive engineering environmentTake ownership of production reliability, monitoring and incident managementResponsibilitiesEnsure application uptime, performance, scalability and reliabilityOwn incident management, including on-call support, root cause analysis and post-incident reviewsManage and support MS SQL Server environments, including clustering and high availabilityMonitor applications and infrastructure using New Relic, Logz.io, AWS CloudWatch and similar toolsIdentify performance bottlenecks and drive reliability and automation improvementsDefine and improve SLOs and SLAsSupport disaster recovery testing, failover exercises and availability simulationsCollaborate with CloudOps, DevOps and Engineering teams on infrastructure and application improvementsManage operational incidents, changes and tasks through Jira and Jira Service Management.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience3–5 years of experience in CloudOps, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Production Engineering or a related roleExperience working in production environments and participating in 24x7/on-call support.Must-Have SkillsStrong knowledge of Windows Server, IIS and MS SQL ServerExperience with SQL Server high availability, clustering, failover and performance troubleshootingHands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, CloudTrail and VPCExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Logz.io, CloudWatch, Grafana or similarGood understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and security fundamentalsExperience with incident response, change management, RCA and postmortemsWorking knowledge of PowerShell, Python or similar scripting languagesExperience with Jira / Jira Service ManagementAbility to independently troubleshoot production issues and drive them to resolutionGood to HaveAWS, Microsoft, Windows, SQL Server or SRE-related certificationsExposure to Infrastructure as Code / automationExperience with disaster recovery, SLO/SLA frameworks and application performance monitoringExperience in SaaS or high-availability production environments
