SCC Private Members Ltd | Bridgwater, SomersetFull-time | £25,000 per year | 37.5 hours per weekSCC Private Members is looking for an organised, confident and outgoing Club Coordinator to help deliver an exceptional experience for our members.You’ll be central to the club’s day-to-day operations: supporting members, helping run a busy events calendar and sharing what’s happening across the SCC community. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in the details and thrives in a fast-moving environment.What you’ll do...Be a friendly, professional point of contact for members by email, telephone, WhatsApp and social media.Support membership administration, including welcoming new members, managing membership renewals, monitoring payments and keeping records accurate.Help coordinate events by preparing joining instructions, liaising with venues and members, and keeping event information up to date.Attend events and help ensure they run smoothly, with a consistently high standard of member service.Support sports car and supercar drive-outs, driving days and tours as part of the event team.Travel in a lead or support vehicle and use a two-way radio to give drivers clear, timely updates on traffic, road conditions, route movements and relevant situations ahead.Create and schedule social media content, capture content at events and help produce the monthly members’ newsletter.Assist with sponsor communications, website updates and merchandise orders.Work closely with the Events Manager and wider SCC team.Events and travelSCC organises more than 100 events each year across weekdays and weekends. You’ll be expected to attend and support the majority of them.The role involves regular travel throughout England, Scotland and Wales, as well as international travel for driving tours and events across continental Europe. Our calendar also includes occasional trips to more remote destinations, including Arctic regions. Some tours may require you to spend a week or longer away from home.Weekend work is an essential part of the role. When you work a weekend, you’ll receive a weekday off in lieu immediately before or after that weekend.About youYou’ll be:Highly organised and able to manage several priorities at once.Friendly, professional and confident when speaking with members, venues and sponsors.Clear and composed on a two-way radio, able to communicate road and traffic information accurately and concisely.A confident, responsible driver who is comfortable travelling in lead and support vehicles.Comfortable with regular travel, overnight stays and occasional extended periods away from home.Flexible about working days and hours around the club’s events calendar.Able to write clearly and accurately.Confident using social media, email, spreadsheets and online systems.Proactive, detail-focused and committed to excellent member service.Experience in events, membership services, hospitality, customer service, administration or social media would be useful. Experience using two-way radios is an advantage, although training can be provided.
