Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description This part-time hybrid role of Cluster General Manager – Hotels is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site presence across the hotel cluster and some work-from-home flexibility. The Cluster General Manager oversees daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and support functions, ensuring consistent service standards and guest satisfaction across all properties. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, optimizing revenue, managing budgets, and controlling costs while maintaining quality and brand guidelines. The role also involves leading and developing management teams, setting performance objectives, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. The Cluster General Manager collaborates with owners and senior leadership on strategic planning, brand positioning, and improvement initiatives, using data and market insights to drive decisions.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in hotel or hospitality management, ideally across multiple properties or a cluster environment.Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including team development, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, revenue management, and cost control within a hotel operations context.Ability to design, implement, and monitor operational standards and processes that support service quality and efficiency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests, team members, vendors, and ownership groups.Familiarity with hotel management systems, reservations platforms, and standard office software tools.Knowledge of local regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and hospitality best practices in the United Arab Emirates.Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Proven ability to work in a hybrid setup, managing on-site responsibilities while effectively handling strategic and administrative tasks remotely.Fluency in English; additional language skills commonly used by guests in Dubai are an advantage.
